Today, this Trinidad and Tobago-born rapper continues to put out hit songs and climb up the ladder of success. She’s judged on American Idol, toured the globe, and there is no sign of her stopping.

Cardi B has had quite the life, but she isn’t keeping it from anyone. She got the world’s attention when she opened up about her life as a former stripper and regularly appeared on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York from 2015 to 2017. Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, she got a strong and unfiltered personality that actually helped her build her career, making her an instant social media celebrity.

However, she’s also proved that she’s more than a girl who speaks her mind. In 2017, she signed with Atlantic Records, putting out her first hit “Bodak Yellow,” showing her she’s one talented rapper. She’s even crossed the line to film, appearing in the movie “Hustlers” with Jennifer Lopez.

She banked on her talent for writing lyrics and turned them into hit after hit after hit. In 2019, she dropped her second album, Hot Pink, and it turned her into one of the greatest female rappers to date. She shows her sex appeal and confidence through her unique music videos, like “Rules” and “Cyber Sex,” and the world is here for it. 

Currently, her bop song “Say so” infused with a 70’s inspired music video is hitting the charts.

This female rapping duo remains on the charts because they stick to what they know and will continue to rise because they know how to get better with every single. Their single “Act Up” proves their talent and more things will just get better in the following years.

Megan Thee Stallion radiates power and confidence with the music she puts out. Her song “Hot Girl Summer” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign was not only a worldwide hit but became an anthem for women all around. What makes her even an even more empowered artist is that she did all while getting her degree in college.

Along with her strong lyrics, she not only boosted her own confidence but hyped every listener to love and believe in themselves. Megan Thee Stallion has made it big and will continue to prosper in the future.
